Timmonsville police chief to retire at the end of the month

TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Timmonsville Police Chief Billy Brown says he is officially retiring at the end of the month.

He has been with the department, on and off, for about 10 years and has more than 3o years of law enforcement experience. His last day will be Dec. 31.

Chief Brown says Timmonsville is now searching for a new chief.
