Police: 1 injured in Myrtle Beach shooting Friday morning


MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach police are investigating a shooting Friday morning after they say one person was shot.

Around 4:15a.m., officers were sent to the area of 3rd Avenue South and Kings Hwy for calls of shots fired, according to Tom Vest with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

The shooting came a day after one person was injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Captain Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood, about 800 feet away from Friday’s incident.
