Florence bank robbed at gunpoint, police release photos of wanted man

FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) — Florence police are investigating after a bank was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

Around 8:20 a.m., Anderson Brother’s Bank on 2nd Loop Road was robbed by an armed man, according to police. Officers said the man left the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as 5’8″ to 5’11”, white, middle-aged with black and gray hair. He was wearing a hat, mask, and woodland camouflage clothing.

The suspect’s shirt appeared to have the rank of Captain on the collar and a military patch on the shoulder.

No one was injured during the incident, according to police.
