Police investigate a reported armed robbery in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Police investigate a reported armed robbery Tuesday night. 

Myrtle Beach Police officials tell News13 it happened at the Murphy Express on 865 Oak Forest Lane around 9 p.m. 

The victim told police that a man walked into the gas station, asked where the bathroom was, went around the counter and with his arm pointed towards the victim demanded all the money from the register. 

The suspect left the store heading north. 

The victim said she never saw a handgun but the man had something in his hands wrapped up in a white t-shirt. 

Police obtained security footage showing the suspect. He was wearing light blue jeans, a grey v-neck t-shirt, and a du-rag on his head.
