1 dead, 2 more injured in Robeson County shooting


ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) – Robeson County deputies are investigating after a shooting in Parkton left one person and dead and two more people injured Sunday evening according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 7:30 p.m., deputies were sent to the area of 102 Victoria Drive in Parkton for calls of shots fired, according to authorities.

When deputies arrived they found 41-year-old Thomas Faulcon dead on scene. Two more people were also shot, and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, according to authorities.

Homicide investigators are investigating the incident. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting with the case.
