Scotland County deputies arrest man in connection to organized crime operation

SCOTLAND CO., NC (WBTW) – Authorities arrested a man wanted for multiple felonies related to an organized crime operation.

Jalen Quick, 18, of Gibson, N.C., was arrested on Wednesday after turning himself in at the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office.

Quick was served with 81 felony warrants, totaling more than 173 felony charges from four counties, including Richmond, Moore, Cumberland and Scotland counties.

Quick’s charges relate to large number of incidents involving breaking and entering, car theft, robbery, and more.

Quick received an $850,000 bond and is scheduled to be in court on Thursday.
