SLED issues Endangered Person notification for missing and endangered 85-year-old Latta woman

LATTA, SC (WBTW) – Police in Latta along with SLED are hoping the public can help find a missing and endangered woman.

Investigators with the Latta Police Department posted on social media a picture of Jaxie Rogers. Rogers is 85 years of age, and according to police she has dementia.

SLED issued an Endangered Person Notification for Rogers. 

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for Rogers. She was spotted in Fairmont, NC near Progressive Farm Road at around 3 p.m. Friday. 

Police say her caregiver called them when she saw Rogers’ vehicle leaving the parking lot after stopping at the IGA store in Latta, Friday. Rogers is believed to have been driving.

The vehicle is a white, 2008 Buick Lacrosse, SC TAG # DYY232.

Rogers was last seen wearing:

  • Purple blouse
  • Light blue pants
  • Purple & pink shoes

Rogers is about 5’4″ tall and weighs about 110 pounds.
