LAURINBURG, N.C. (WBTW) — Laurinburg police have arrested a teenager in the shooting death of a convenience store employee in November.
Nabil Alrabaly, 32, and another employee were leaving Ahlams Convenience Store at 1116 S. Caledonia Road just before midnight on Nov. 27 when the 16-year-old male allegedly got into the vehicle with Alrabaly and demanded money.
Alrabaly got out of the vehicle and tried to run away, and that’s when police said the teen shot him. Alrabaly died from his injuries.
The juvenile was apprehended and taken to a juvenile facility. The investigation continues at this time.
