I-95 North in Robeson County back open after crash near South Carolina state line

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) — Interstate 95 North in Robeson County near the South Carolina state line due has reopened after a crash on Friday, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

The northbound lanes had been closed near Exit 2. One lane reopened just before 7:30 p.m. The crash happened at about 4:30 p.m.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol said one tractor-trailer sideswiped another, causing both to tip over and catch on fire. No serious injuries were reported. Those injured were treated on scene.

Drivers must take Exit 2 to NC-130, turn left on NC-130 West, right onto US-301 N/N Bond Street, continue to follow US-301 and turn right onto Raynham Road to re-access I-95 North.
