Man charged with failing to register as sex offender with Robeson Co. Sheriff’s Office

PROCTORVILLE, NC (WBTW) – A man has been arrested and charged with failing to register as a sex offender with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

Ronald Gregory Page, 51, of Proctorville, was arrested at his home by the RCSO and U.S. Marshals Service on Thursday, according to a press release from the RCSO. Page is charged with “failing to register with Robeson County Sheriff’s Office as a sex offender.”

Page is also charged with “a fugitive warrant based on a sexual assault investigation in Douglasville, Georgia,” the release said. “The assaults were reported to have occurred in 2018.” Page is charged with four counts of rape, four counts of incest and four counts of aggravated sexual battery.

He was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center and given a $200,000 secured bond. Page will be extradited to Georgia after a hearing or waiver.
