Man shot over seat at NC movie theater

CONCORD, NC (WSPA) – Police say a man was shot after a dispute over seating in a movie theater at the Concord Mills Mall in Concord, North Carolina.

The shooting happened around 6:00 pm at the AMC Theaters inside the mall, according to Concord Police.

Investigators say the suspect is a man with short dreadlocks and was wearing a black and white striped shirt and was accompanied by a woman.

Concord Police say the victim’s injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The mall and movie theater were both closed following the shooting.
