The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office has gotten some new wheels.

According to a post on Facebook from Sheriff Burnis Wilkins the department has received several new Ford Explorer all-wheel drive police interceptors. They took to the roads in Robeson County on Wednesday.

These new vehicles were needed, according to the sheriff. Some of the department’s current patrol vehicles have over 200,000 miles on them.
