Woman arrested after allegedly pouring bleach on property in Florence while holding gun

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) A woman has been arrested after allegedly pouring bleach on property in Florence while holding a gun.

Officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Westview Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance around 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a press release from the Florence Police Department. Officers found and detained Tyanita Danyel Burgess on the scene.

Burgess allegedly entered the home without permission and allegedly confronted the victims in an upstairs bedroom, the release said. Burgess is accused of holding a gun while pouring bleach on the victim’s property.

According to the release, one of the victims present during the incident was a juvenile.

Burgess was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree, domestic violence in the first degree, and unlawful conduct toward a child. She was taken to the Florence County Detention Center.
