A chilly start to the day with plenty of sunshine this afternoon. This afternoon winds will be out of the east northeast and this will allow for a bit of a cooler day than yesterday. However, high pressure will control our weather through Thursday brining a nice warm up with temperatures back to the upper 70s and low 80s. It will be clear and cool again tonight. The center of the high pressure system will move offshore Wedneday, allowing more humidity and warmer weather to return. Some spots will warm into the 80s Wednesday through Friday. A strong cold front will move across the Carolinas on Friday with the potential for severe thunderstorms. It will clear and cool for the weekend.
