The heat wave will continue with record high temperatures through Thursday. High pressure over the southeast will bring sunny, hot weather for most of the week. High temperatures will be near 100 inland, and in the mid 90s along the coast. The area of high pressure will start to weaken on Friday, and a weak cold front will move into the area over the weekend. This will bring isolated thunderstorms Friday through the weekend, and cool it down a little bit. However, rain chances will be low, and temperatures will stay above normal, just not record heat.
